WE ARE called by God to be stewards over our children
I feel like so many of us have been sleeping for so long that we have forgotten how to wake up and get out of bed. I don’t mean turn off the alarm and push the snooze button. I mean, wake up, get up and begin to do what God has called us to do. We have become so comfortable in our beds of complacency. We are pulling the covers over our eyes of injustice, violence, and evil forces that are taking our children out, rather than getting on our knees, and declare that no weapon formed against our children, will ever be able to prosper. I have been working with children and families for over 30 years, and I have never seen more children that have a lack of focus, violent tendencies, nightmares, poor nutrition which causes digestive issues, brain fog, and eczema, to name a few. There are children on Ritalin because they have been “diagnosed” with ADD and ADHD. I Refuse to sit back and literally watch the enemy, steal, kill and destroy the future of our children. Why am I saying this because the Bible is right when it says we are destroyed for the lack of knowledge. Allowing our children to play violent video games and watch movies that we “think” are safe like the ones from Disney is not okay. Just look at the IMAGES. Listen to the lyrics of the songs. Everything that sounds good is not necessarily good. Let’s all do the research.
We say we want our children to learn, grow and thrive, but ARE WE cooking and feeding them fruits and vegetables or fast food most of the week? Have we checked the ingredients that have harmful dyes in the food and are destroying our children’s brains and body cells? We cannot ask why things are happening to our children when we are not doing our part to help them survive. Are we providing vitamins and supplements for them like cod, liver oil, and vitamin D, C, and B? If you are answering NO to any of these questions, I suggest that you start today. Our children’s ability to reach their divine destiny depends on us being diligent and determined to wake up, remove the covers, get out of bed, and begin to walk out some of these practices, so that our life and the lives of our children are better.
Remember, WE ARE called by God to be stewards over our children, not the other way around.
