All About Love

The theme for February is LOVE. Tina Turner sang a song entitled “What’s love got to do with it”? Although I adore Tina Turner, it is my belief that Love has EVERYTHING to do with it. We will be teaching your children what it means to love God, yourself, your neighbor and your enemies. Our art activities in the classroom will focus on kindness and generosity. They will learn about Jesus Christ dying so that we might have life and that more abundantly. Our goal is to have children understand that God loves them, forgives, corrects and blesses them. If you are wanting to love yourself and your family members more, please see the ten ways we love others.

  1. Listen without interrupting (Proverbs 18:13)
  2. Speak without accusing (James 1:19)
  3. Give without sparing (Proverbs 21:26)
  4. Pray without ceasing (Colossians 1:9)
  5. Answer without arguing (Proverbs 17:1)
  6. Share without pretending (Ephesians 4:15)
  7. Enjoy without complaining (Philippians 2:14)
  8. Trust without wavering (I Corinthians 13:7)
  9. Forgive without punishing (Colossians 3:13)
  10. Promise without forgetting (Proverbs 13:12)

Instead of singing “What’s Love got to do with it” I would rather sing Dionne Warwick’s song “What the world needs now is Love sweet Love

Until next time,
Be Blessed
